I finished my prairie flower this morning, and I may have the first quilting-related injury of this block-a-long!  I sliced open my finger with my rotary cutter when I was careless with my hand placement.  Thankfully I didn't bleed on my blocks!

Anyway, picture!

And Im sorry about your finger! Sad You sound just like me! Last time I sliced my finger open with the rotary cutter, the first thing I did was "Oh my god! Not my fabric!" lol

I'm OK, I just wish it hadn't been my left hand!  (I'm left handed, and doing anything hurts with a sliced finger).

I cut myself too... (hope you're ok).   Laughed when I read your concern was that you didn't bleed on your blocks.. not that it's funny, but it was my first thought too!

Your blocks are beautiful, woobie!  I'm fine, I just keep catching it on fabric and things (I can't keep a bandage on to save my life, so the little open spot snags on things).  I know my priorities; save the blocks!   Grin

Thank you.. I'm thinking of making two matching quilts for my sister's sons (one of whom is living in Alaska now).  I had made them quilts when they were small (not fancy, just something that they could drag around) and they really loved  them.  Those quilts have been everywhere with them.. and I think maybe it's time they were replaced.

I'm printing out the diagrams and putting them in folders to go along with the quilt(s) when finished.  They might not care now what the blocks are called, but I think that sometime when they are older they might.
