Wow!  It's coming along beautifully!

I've never done mosaics before.  How do you cut the filler tiles?  Are you breaking them w/a hammer or do you have to use nippers to cut them?  If I had to guess, I suppose it would be easy to break them up w/a hammer.

Enough rambling from me...let me just enjoy your lovely project! Smiley

Can't wait for the next update!

Thank you gizmonic Smiley

The pieces for this project are being cut with nippers, hand held glass cutter and running pliers. I have used my hammer, but not usually on glass. It seems to make shards more than pieces. Smiley

This is so lovely!  I'm officially an HSG groupie!

I'm hoping/trying/planning to do my very first mosaic piece ever, so I'm trying to read through all of your threads for instructions, tips & tricks.  Thank you so much for sharing!  You are my inspiration.

That's coming along great!  I'm sure it will be gorgeous when it's done! Have you shown your dad your progress, or are you waiting until it's done?

Okay, so I was overly optimistic on what kind of progress I would make today.  Grin

Anywho, here's todays update:

I'm trying to make the colors look random without any pattern being noticeable. Is that the effect you see?

C&C always welcome!  Smiley
