Wow were the pleats hard to do? I've always wanted to try them but haven't had the courage. The bag looks great it looks like something you could buy in a shop- very proffessional looking.  Smiley

okay. so here's the deal. i used one of the tutorials on this website and i would totally and completely give her credit for this, but i can't seeem to find it again so i'm so so so so sorry to this person but thank you so much!!!

That looks great!  I'm working on this bag too, but posted in the tute link that I'm having trouble with the straps.  Your straps look awesome, can you tell me how you did them?  Do I need to fold in the whole top of the exterior of the bag before sewing them in?
