Baby Love Diagonal Blanket.
Casted On: Aug 28 2007
Finished: Sept 3 2007
Yarn: 4 skeins of 100% Peruvian Highland Wood from Elann.com, Spun in Peru exclusively for elann.com (Col 2766 Lot 132) 50g 100M (109 yards)Sorta a buttery yellow.
Needle: US 7 Addi 80cm

I think my 80cm circ was too short for a proper sized baby blanket... but I finished it anyway... it'll just be for a tiny tiny baby or maybe for a substitue blankey type... u know to ween a baby off of a larger blanket.

I am on a baby blanket search of the lately cuz it seems everyone i know is pregnant and having a baby.

this is 100 % wool, and handwash only... so maybe not as practical as a superwash wool...

it's a pretty easy free pattern from lion's brand's website...

I really love the color, and how warm it is, and how cuddley it is... now all i need is an expectant mother.

It may be handwash, but they are great as bed pads, because they are antimicrobial and keep the sheets dry!  I love wool blankies with babies.  Smiley

the edge just does that with the pattern.  It's caused by the YOs.
