Aw, and I'm so rule-bound I itemize practically everything on a customs label.  I'm so chicken that they'll tear my package open to verify the contents because of some oddity that shows up under x-ray.

The military even opened up one of my letters to my husband while he was deployed because I used a handmade envelope.  It was amusing to imagine a government security official reading a love letter and eyeballing  snapshots and a bumpy homemade card for explosive devices  Cool

Well here's my pictures of the gorgeous items I received from ZaftigMomma!! (Finally! I'm so sorry I took so long to get them up- been a busy little bee!!)

She sent me a hot water bottle with a knit cover.. it has a "B" on it- my first intial!! She made reference to it having belonged to Bill Weasley (Harry Potter ref).. lol! It's adorable!

She also knit me a scarf- which I promptly wore the next day! It's so cute and pretty and I love it!!

Thankyou so much ZaftigMomma!! Cheesy I love them both.. and they will definately come in handy when I'm in the UK! Cheesy

Ack!  I can't believe September is over---the time has flown!  Malina received her package and asked me to post some pics....so (drum-roll) here are some not-so-great pictures brought to you by isight and photobooth:

A button earring (I actually sent two...but it was so much easier to take a photo of one!) It is red/black with the back side being a shiny gray/black.

White button earring (once more, there was another, slightly different to this one):

Vintage glass earring (mate was identical), rust coloured:

I'm so glad you enjoyed everything, Malina!

I'm a bit behind at the moment, but last Friday I received from Brihene!
She sent me a bunch of embroidery floss and the black came in very handy  Grin

Thanks again Brihene!

Well.. since it seems Miss Mermaid has flaked (*keeps fingers crossed she hasn't*), I'll post up what I sent her..
The pic isn't very good.. sorry! I'm terrible at these pics!

It's a nestlace, a nest ring and some water-themed beads, because she was very into virgo.
I also made her a cute mermaid themed card to go with the water-themed beads and obviously her name.. but I didn't get any pics of that Sad
