Seriously, doesn't it kick?

Oh, that asian fabric is gorgeous!

And here's a pic of the fab fabrics I got with my thank you note from kitschbitch!

I just found the skull fabric when I was taking the picture yesterday  Cheesy
Thank you, and I think I already know what to make with some of the fabric: a patchwork scarf!

I'm very sorry to onthinice for not posting pictures of my lovely swap package any sooner.. I promise it doesn't mean I'm any less grateful, jutst that I'm swamped at the moment!

So! Feast your eyes you little September craft-heads.. this package is a killer!

The whole thing (minus the candycorn- which had already been abducted by my tounge- not even 10 minutes after I'd opened the package! I've never had it before alright!)
Also there are some little fairy and dragonfly charms and closures (onthinice works at a bead store- what a dream come true!), I love them! They are completely my style.
Oh.. there's the little customs letter too.. telling me that they had opened it but not stolen any of my presents.. yay!

A close-up of the lovely handmade soap, nagchampa scented!

A pincushion! It's adorable and I needed one too! It's made from felt and has lots of lovely knotting as detail- beautiful!

Two cup cozies.. I think I may give one to my boy when we are reunited (hopefully in Jan next year!) after 8ish months! We can be a matching set!

And my most favourite thing last- my very own swap journal! At last!
onthinice made this using a book-binding technique called "secret Belgian binding".
It even includes paper that is 25-30 years old from when her aunty was a maths teacher! It's the yellow paper featured in the pic below.

Thankyou so much onthinice- everything you maybe was so expertly done! You put so much thought into the package and it wasn't even your birthday month! Everything (especially the swap journal) is perfect!
Thanks again!
Cheesy

Happy swapping, stitching, and drinking, ViolinRomance!  I've added the drink wrap and pincushion to my personal list of must-make-for-me, and I've made two more of those pincushions in other colors to give out as gifts.  It's a great use for some weird colors of felt my mother gave me  Cheesy

So, further proof that I am lucky:  when I got home today I found a lovely thank you card from Malina.  HOWEVER, she also sent me a wonderful tattoo-flash inspired patch!

MERCI!

Once again the text is backwards due to using isight:
