I think her name is Ava-Lu (or Loo, I don't know how you spell it). Possibly Aveline, but maybe that's what it's short for anyway? Although if your name was as pretty as Aveline I doubt you'd shorten it.

I have so many ideas for paintings popping around my head, but since I'm just back to school I haven't (and probably won't) have as much time. But I was doing some sketching earlier, and ta-da! I think I'm still going to add a background of some sort - maybe even some wallpaper type or something. But for now, Ava-Lu says hi.

Too cool!  And if you haven't decided on the name, I think Aveline is best.  And isn't "avis" Latin for bird?

Thank you!
And yep, exactly Cheesy

I had never heard of the name Aveline before actually (I wanted to see what sort of Av- starting names were out there, even though I really like Ava-Lu) but now I'm completely enamoured with it!

You do have a very unique style! I love this picture- the way you combined the elements. When I was very little my mom would tell me I had a birds nest in my hair as she tried to brushed it.  I really did not know what she meant at the time, but this  This picture would explain it. Grin
