I started this as a recon of an Earth shoes bag, but realized half way through that I was basically just making a new pouch all together. So I just left the Earth shoe pouch as an added layer of padding and used the original drawstring closure. I hand stitched the opening with embroidery floss in an effort to add a something more personal. The outside fabric is from a book of upholstery fabric samples. The lining is fleece left over from a blanket I made for my mom last year.

Please give me some feedback. I had a heck of a time with it as there are some pieces of fabric that had a cardboard backing I couldn't remove.
