The cuteness is blinding!  I seriously need to make one of those so I can get the confidence to try knitting a person-sized sweater.

Too cute!  Now you can get one of those really small teddy bears with the moveable arms, and he can be cozy all winter long!

I can't knit, but this is adorable!

So cute!   What a great idea for an ornament!  Seeing something tony like that reminds me of a few years ago before my husband retired..  Every Thanksgiving his store would  prepare and serve a full Thanksgiving meal (for free) back in the stockroom.  As the wife of the store manager, it was my job for many years  to cook an enormous turkey, then cut it down into buffet size portions and take it up to the store for the dinner.  I did that for years.  No complaints, happy to help, all that.  But one year....well let's just say that I got a little bored!  I took one of those very little pheasant bird.  Tiny scrawny little thing.  I cooked it...actually over cooked it on purpose....and then took the real normal-sized enormous fully cooked turkey out of its pan and put the tiny little burnt-to-a-crisp very small pheasant into the big oversized tin foil roasting pan that the enormous bird had first roasted in. (So all the roasting juices, etc were all still in there.) The little bird was just so scrawny and lost in the big huge roasting pan...you get the picture.  Meanwhile, giggling all the way, I carved apart the perfectly cooked enormous turkey and placed it in another large container.  Now I had to transport the birds to the store.  People were calling...they were hungry and excited for their big meal.  I just hinted that there was a little problem this year.  Well I showed up and carried in this huge aluminum, foil draped roasting pan and with much fan fare I put it down on the table and everyone was watching with excitement to what the big turkey get unveiled.  I announced that a small problem had happened and I didn't know exactly what, but this is what we had to eat this year:  I ripped/peeled back the tin foil and exposed this scrawny, burnt, tiny bird carcass and said very dramatically and loudly, "It shrunk!"

There was dead silence.  No one quite knew what to say to the boss' wife but it was the Thanksgiving Employee Dinner.  Then my husband came up and looked inside there and started roaring with laughter, and the joke was up. I went and got the real turkey out and we had a great dinner..as always.

Your beautiful little sweater with the teeny tiny little hanger reminded me of my miniature turkey dinner that year.  Hope you have loads of fun and laughter with yours!

crochetmama that's hilarious, you're too funny!

groschveux, i don't have any blythes but i have a bunch of vintage skippers , sadly this sweater wouldn't go past her stupid outstretched arms, i haven't tried it on bendy arm skipper, it might fit her. i should make a tiny cardigan though , that would definitely be easier to put on!

and i haven't tried knitted pants (tiny), i've seen patterns for them i think, though.

Oh, how I love those!  Esp. the earflap hat with the kitty ears!

Last month I learned how to knit socks on DPNs, and since then I've had this nagging urge to try and make the smallest pair of socks I can.  Something like varigated thread on filed down sewing needles.   And I'd totally do it in public.   Cheesy

that is so cute.  I like to look at all the (regular sized) sweaters people knit and wish I had a body that would fit the deminsions in a knitted sweater.  I could totally make these and not feel bad that it didnt look right on me.  You should make a mini of one of those really fitted sweaters (with a huge bust and tiny waist).  Those are the sweaters I want to knit for myself but unfortunately my deminsions are the opposite.   ::)A tiny bust and huge waist dont look so hot in a fitted sweater.  Still love this and the hats and cant wait to see more.  Smiley LaShawn

This inspired me to knit a tiny hat. My fiance kapt asking me what I was knitting. "A hat for you!"

It's fun to knit tiny things, I've tried to knit a mini mitten before but i ran out of yarn so I never completed the pair.

all of these would make totally cute christmas ornaments... the hats maybe strung together on a garland? (rushes off to check yarn stash for leftover sock yarn!)

i second the compliment on pics! these are so cute and you did a lovely job photographing them.
