My bestfriend and I are seniors but go to different highschools. At her school the seniors get to paint their parking spaces this saturday and she invited me to come help her. She seems to think i'm an amazing artist, I do like to do crafty things, but when in comes to freehand drawing I suck. So I immediately thought stenciling but I've only stencled shirts. Once I tried to stencil on a binder and it turned out hideous. So if any one has any tips or other ideas that would be greatly appreciated.

um, i haven't actually done any stenciling in years, (am planning on doing some shirts soon though!) - but i would think your best bet for a parking space would be a heavy duty stencil material, like cardboard, and plain old spray paint.  I imagine asphalt is a lot more forgiving than a plastic binder.  Just make sure the stencil is secure (you don't want it blowing away midway through!)

Hopefully someone who knows what they are talking about will come along...    Undecided

Thanks for the advice. We ended up not doing any stenciling because we're lazy but it turned out pretty cool anyways. Grin

I wish my highschool had enough parking spaces! school started at 8 20 and if you didn't get there by 8, you didn't get to park
