What do you do with your flowers after they have bloomed and are all sad brown seed heads?

You bring them back from the dead!

Oh, these flowers are ugly now...I should cut them down.

But they have such a nice shape....

Waaaaait....I have spray paint!

Hmmm...looks better...maybe another color of lighter purple on top...

See! Looks pretty good after that 2nd coat of lighter purple! Yay Me!

The close up shot, so you can see the bits of overspray, cause I was too lazy/excited to bother with masking off the green areas.

Aaaaa! I'm turning into a zombie too!!..Oh, no, wait, I just forgot my gloves...again.

The action shot...3 of our kids, 2 in robot suits, and Emmatastic as the Alien Robot Ruler (see the tinfoil hat?)

Thanks guys! Everytime I walk out front I giggle...and then when I walk past my neighbor's house (she's a grump with a FANTASTIC garden) and see her ugly brown seed heads, I dissolve into a puddle of mirth.
And, yeah...we're all about the gratuitous use of tinfoil for all things robot or alien...I seem to burn through a box of foil every week.
What can I say? I look good in a tinfoil hat! (erm...I mean the KIDS look good...yeah...the kids)
