Can anybody tell me what a "babette" afghan is. What I'm getting from the pix I've seen, it looks like sort of a sampler of different sized granny squares. I'd really appreciate any info.

it's a crochet blanket pattern published by interweave crochet magazine. it just became popular because of the colors and diff. granny square sizes, so people start using the name babette as if that type of blanket it called that, when really it's just the name the designer gave it.

i love it, i plan on making it when i finish the one i'm currently working on.
