This is the response I got back from Zephyr concerning the yardage. I can't decide which length to do either.

"The specified yardage is enough for either, so I suppose you could say it is for the longer. We didn't feel that the two styles were different enough in yardage used to mark 2 separate requirements on the pattern."

I love all the Zephyr patterns, and this one is no exception. How difficult does the pattern look? I have only done one "sweater" before - the Anthropologie-inspired capelet, so I don't know if this would be too complicated.

Looks pretty easy, like most of their patterns are. It's a top down in garter stitch on circulars (if their past patterns are anything to go by) with a lace pepum. If you know how to increase, decrease, do yarn overs  (or have the nous to read up on what is what) it's the pattern for you.

Hmm, I may be in! Just have to wait until the end of the month to order yarn, though (going on vacation in a couple weeks).

Ohh Kappatit,

Let's see a photo! How are you finding the pattern?

I'm not crazy about garter stitch and was thinking of replacing it with something else (seed stitch?). How are you liking it so far? What length are you making?

I really really really would love to have Interweave Knits Spring 2007 for those Eunny Chang entrelac socks. . . Does anyone want to swap for it?! I have yarn, I can sew, embroider, knit.
