i just bought and downloaded the pattern.  i think i'm going to do the long version first.  might make both eventually!

i have some cottonease in my stash, but i'm not sure if i want to use that so i'll have to think a bit more and maybe buy something else.

I got an e-mail back from Zephyr saying that it was a mistake in the pattern and it has been fixed.

I'm a few inches in!

Okay, I'm a few rows in with the garter stitch and I have a (probably dumb) question...

After you cast on you're supposed to place the markers to divide the sections. Why is the back in two halves and the front in one piece? It says (for the smallest size)

Divide sts as follows:
K12, pm, (a half of back)
K10, pm, (right sleeve)
K26, pm (front)
etc...

Why is the back in two halves and the front in one big piece if it's a cardi?

*confused*

so k26 is back not the front..right?

My first reaction when I saw Juliet:

"OH! SO CUTE!!"

I really like the garter stitch portion; garter stitch seems to be very in again lately.

I want to join this KAL eventually.  Smiley Can't wait to see the progress you guys make!

Anyone working on lace panel?  Does # of stitches even out as direction?  After the lace set up row, I have 159 stitches total(making xs) and started doing lace panel.  If i do row 1 of lace panel as directed(repeat from* to * till 8 stitches remain), I have incomplete lace panel.  Does it make sense??

I noticed the lace panel stitch count for the second smallest size didn't allow for full repeat of the lace panel. I just increased the number of stiches so that I had a full repeat all the way (otherwise the lace panels won't be symmetrical on the front.) Of course, I ran out of yarn so I'm waiting for one more skein to finish. Good luck!
