I am making a tote for when I go to the flea market to buy games. I am wanting to stencil Mario on the outside as well as a few other things (Yoshi, one up man, etc) and I am lost. I have never done this before and I know nothing about stenciling. This is the only way I know to get them on the bag since I don't have an embroidery machine. Any ideas? or help on how to get them on there would be soooo much appreciated! Thanks y'all!

if you're asking how to stencil, it's easy.

deathcabforcody posted a tutorial here:http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=10173.0

and here is another tutorial beingdomestic posted on multilayer stenciling: http://beingdomestic.blogspot.com/2007/05/first-multilayer-stencil-and-tutorial.html

of course, you could always look at sites like stencil www.stencilrevolution.com.  they give tutorials using photoshop which is neat.  if you do finish this bad, be sure to post pictures!  it sounds like it'll be supercute!
