"What do YOU Journal About?!" Ideas thread!

Thanks for the encouragement! I am going to keep trying, and just go ahead with messing around anyway, and hope that I sort of 'evolve' into a more artistic way of doing things. Practice makes perfect, right? Good idea to go through all the old posts, too. re-inspiration! All those things that we have forgotten about!

I just read this thread tonight and wrote down all of the ideas I want to use in my journal I have made a resolution to use this year. I'm also looking for sites or blogs that do weekly journal prompts or things like thaqt. Does anyone have any good recommendations?

But if we do a journal swap, I don't think it should be one of those "round robin" swaps cause... well, alot of people don't have the money for postage at the moment, like, some people just can't afford to spend a fiver on postage, or the time to annotate 12 other people's journals  
So I think it should just be a normal swap, where each person has one partner - I think it would be less stressful, too, especially for those of us with the july exams or whatever

I assume that it will be like:
- buy/make a journal
- fill it in however you please
- send it to swap partner
- done!

Am I right or have I missed something??

Well I finally started my journal today
I'm a bit anxious that I'll fail but I also feel relieved for starting it!
I have been wanting to do this for a year and a half now
Currently I am still working on my first page, but that's ok.
If only I could find something to fill the space

SUPER IMAGE HUMOUNGOUS!

Okay! Im finally going to post some pictures of my journal... Lots of ideas nicked from this here thread, a few originals... But I love it, I am addicted (except the last few days when Ive been too ill to use brain power).

My inside cover has a ace quote that I wanted to show everyone

It says "Even so, my memory has grown increasingly dim, and I have already forgotten any number of things.  Writing from memory like this, I often feel a pang of dread.  What if I've forgotten the most important thing?  What if somewhere inside me there is a dark limbo where all the truly important memories are heaped and slowly turning to mud?"  Its from Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami who is my all time favourite author.

That is lots of christmas cards cut up and collaged, also some ribbon and felt reindeers.  Way better than sticking the cards in the bin!

Twilight page

Yes I have seen it four times but I get free cinema so please dont think Im *completly* insane!  Again showing myself to be a super grown up 21 year old lol.  I like my lil lion and lamb in the corner

Writing prompts

I made a lil pocket in the back with blue card and then wrote out like a million writing prompts, I just pull one out at random and write a page.  I aim at once a week but really that doesnt work lol.

I have other pages but theyre the most exciting ones... I have a dreams page and an inspiration page that have nothing on them yet... And a couple of solely text pages- mainly the writing prompt pages.
