This is my second 'wearable' top.

I followed the Beaded Cami from Blackdog Designs loosely as a guide, taking cue's from both TragicHeorine and Landry's versions along the way. I lowered the bust line to an empire waist, cast on for 4x leaf repeats instead of 5, decreased almost every other row at the beginning and then eased up as I got to the ribcage to about 1 in 3 then 1 in 4 etc etc. For the bodice, I cast on about 60odd sts, for a smaller 3x pattern repeat and added a LOT of bust shaping. I think in all I did about...9 or 10 rows? Almost enough for a C. Thinking back I shoulda done more so the boobs didn't pop out, but I'd be lying if I didn't think it is dead sexy the way it is. Wink

BF went a lil pic happy at the photoshoot so if you want to see all 8 of the final cut, check them out here. http://teamknit.blogspot.com/2007/09/yay-internet-yay-fo.html

Don't change a thing, it's GORGEOUS!  I'm jealous, there is no way I could hang in for that long, two booties and I'm done.

it's beautiful!  i really should make one of these some day...

it's so fitted that from the cropped thumbnail on the homepage and with where your hand is, i though it was a one-piece bathing suit.

This is such a lovely knit that lusciously hugs your gorgeous curves! Every decision you made flatters your body and make for a lovely piece. Not to mention the brilliant color!

I also thought it was a one piece swim suit from the pic of the homepage.  The background also created that illusion.

I love your version.  The mods and the color work for you.  The pics. are great too I looked at all eight.

What an amazing fit, and I'm not surprised your BF went photo-crazy! I really should learn bust shaping. I'm thinking of doing my own take on this pattern so it's great to see all these variations that people are doing.

Your BF is an excellent photographer! He caught the beauty of both the project, and it's creator.
