I found this old cart and rebuilt it.

I stripped off the old wood, scraped and painted the frame and built and painted new sides.  What should I put on it?  I have clean canvasses on three sides.

This is how it looks now.

It depends on your taste, but I think I'd decorate it like a gypsy caravan, all bright colors and fun!

Well, I like the idea about bright colors.  I may have to wait awhile until I get more inspiration.

Thanks for the comments.

What about painting it with a wagon design from an old timey movie, like Professor Marvel's wagon from the Wizard of Oz or the manure cart from Back to the Future III?

Oooh!  I like the idea of Professor Marvel's wagon.  Serious consideration.

You really put in a lot of work!

If you can get your hands on a copy of the summer Idees Marie Claire they have a painted gypsy caravan that could give you some ideas.

I actually used the old pieces as a sort of pattern.  And yes, it did take awhile to do.  I worked on it for over a week.
