here is a custom camera bag i made for the awesome darrell who took me and eric's engagement pics Cheesy

damask any questions, this bag rules!

oh you wanted a close up?  snap snap snap!

look at how fancy this is.  for real.

take a peek at the inside, ya'll

the flap, when opened, has a killer pocket for random stuff a photographer needs to have at hand

the back has a pocket perfectly moleskin sized for notes and cards and moneys and what nots

and a zip section for batteries and the like

the front has a cute pocket too.  because let's face it, we can NEVER have too many pockets.

woot to fancy pants closure things and strapy dealies.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I love this camera bag! I want one now! How did you do the divider inside the bag? I might just have to attempt to conquer one of these.

This is he best photography bag ever!  Not to sound pushy...but I was looking through your shop and that skeleton leaves print would make an awesome bag for a nature photgrapher.  (hint, hint...yeah, I'd totally want to buy that)  Actually doing a whole theme thing would be fun..urban photographer.  Some people specialize in ocean photography or landscape photography.  Ok, I got a little crazy with suggestions there, you can ignore the incessant babbling if you'd like.   Wink

this isn't pushy at all, i love all your ideas!!! Cheesy  sounds like an awesome set to make.  and i LOVE the idea of the theme urban photographer!  awesome!  thanks so much!

that's awesome!! i'm gonna need a camera bag soon too, but i don't trust my sewing skills yet to protect $2000 worth of camera stuff  Undecided

just remember to be extra careful.  the first camera pouch i made for my digital camera i made out of one of those thick padded vintage placemats.  so it had some protection but was still super easy to make!  so just try! Cheesy  if nothing else you can make a cover for a bag you feel safe putting your camera in.  Smiley  i am sure you will be able to do it!  Cheesy

awesome! i just made a padded zipper pouch for my new video camera over the weekend.  nothing this fancy though! did you use batting or padding?

hehe i used both and then some!  i was being very particular in the safety of this bag since it was to house very very expensive equipment in it!  Smiley  i hope you posted your pouch (i am going to look after i comment!!)

Your bag is beautiful. And look at your ring! Yikes what a rock....
Where do you buy the special clips and snaps? Are they from a special supplier or the regular fabric shop?

it took me a while... i would say about 5 hours total?  not including like, design time.  which is pretty serious since most of my bags take an hour or less.  thank you!! Cheesy

If you don't mind, what kind of batting? And "interfacing stuff". Just to put it in my mind if I ever make one I showed your bag to my dad (who is always looking for the PERFECT camera bag and he liked padding and said something about avoiding the Red Star curse?

i used what i had here at home, so i am not really sure what all it was.  the interfacing was super stiff. the batting was not too thick.  i have no idea what the red star curse is but i want to !
