I was inspired by this thread. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=194128.msg2046423#msg2046423

I added a little filling to the center to make it more cushion-y. I also made it adjustable so I can put it on the arm of my machine or the side.

Cuff on the side.

Close up on the side.

Thanks for looking, and thanks again to Ronise for posting this.

how simple how brilliant! I just splurged on a magnetic dish from the hardware but this is perfect to use right at the machine. I wish I had seen this first! Thanks for posting yours and the links.
I can use them at the machine then take them out and transfer to the dish over to the cutting area! I love it! Now if I go bare foot at the machine I won't have to worry about getting stabbed! Well not really I have a million pins hiding somewhere just waiting for me!  Wink

Thanks for all the compliments.

Crazyhouse, depending on what/how you sew, maybe instead of putting it on the top arm you could put it on the bottom?

I'm going to have to take a good look at my machine and figure out where I can squeeze one of these in, they are so functional, I am always reaching for the pincushion, pain in the butt.

That is a great solution. And yours looks even nicer than the ones in the other links.
