They have such pretty prints and colors! We got 4 in the mail last week and we've been using them as coasters for hot pots. I figured that the nice pages can be used to make a paper bag for little gifts. This pattern makes a 4.5 X 9 X 2.25 inch bag.
This is a mini tutorial since most people here know how to make a paper bag Smiley

You need 4 large pieces and 2 smaller bottom ones.
1. Make the pattern. Double your sheets of paper since they're quite thin. Glue with a glue stick. I used the plain yellow page for the insides.
2. Assemble the 3 pieces together. You can tuck the tabs of the bottom piece inside by sandwiching them between the doubled large ones prior to gluing.
3. Make straps by folding two 9 X 1 inch pieces into quarters the long way and stapling them.

Thanks for looking!

How come you got 4 magazines? I  only got 1. Haha, that's a great idea, but I can't bring myself to use Ikea magazines. I'm always reading them. (: I'll definitely try this some day.

I went into IKEA today for the first time and had to be dragged out by the back of my shirt. Especially when I got downstairs to all the textiles! This is such a cool idea for a bag. I'll have to go back soon and get more catalogs so I can make some. Smiley

We could be like onions and peppers
In a sleeping bag fajita
We could be anything you want
