I think this is begging to be done in Amigurumi!

Would anyone be interested in an amigurumi swap related to the Japanese custom of Girl's Day?

Here are some research sources:

http://www.saberdesigns.cc/dolls.htm (has dolls for sale, but i put this here for the excellent examples)

I have seen these dolls interpereted in many ways, even as animals, and that really interests me. I have seen the "Imperial Couple" as cats and rabbits, for instance.

Perhaps we could start with the Imperial Couple, and in subsequent swaps could work on various other elements of the girl's day disply.
