Hey everyone,
I made this blanket for my coworker. Everyone else in the store knew about it, but they all kept it a secret from her. She was really surprised and loved it Smiley

the entire blanket:

stitch pattern on body of blanket:

close-up of corner (all 4 have a bow):

close-up of border:

and i put a little tag on the back:

comments/questions appreciated! Smiley

That's beautiful - your coworker must have been thrilled!  Is that a Terry Kimbrough pattern?  Her blankets are so amazing.

That is so beautiful I love it what sticth did you use for it? I can see why she loved it and I'm glad everyone kept it a secret trust me someone would've blabbed it here at my job.

Aww, that's great, I love it.  Can't go wrong with ruffles!  Did you use acrylic?

And your little tag is lovely, by the way. :]

Hey everyone, thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it. Smiley

magdiego Yes, this is a Terry Kimbrough pattern. it's from a "best of" book of baby afghans by her. It was difficult to pick a pattern, they're all gorgeous. This pattern is called "Baby Blanket" haha original name, huh? Wink

gnathalie2 I think a Christmas version of this blanket would be beautiful!

Concannon I used Lion Brand Baby Soft. I had a bunch of skeins that I picked up at a really good deal awhile back. I'm not a big fan of acrylic, but I knew I had to be practical and make it out of a yarn that could be washed over and over again. Baby Soft is 60% acrylic and 40% nylon.

thanks again, everyone!
