So I have a Christmas Dinner party to go to on Saturday and there's prizes for best outfit. I doubt this will win me anything but it's pretty cute. It's a traditional Christmas Pudding... in hatform.

The dangly thing holds a 5pence coin since it's traditional (although not followed so much these days apparently) to hide a coin or trinket in the pudding. Whoever got the coin/trinket would be King (or Queen) for the day.

The weird line is where I got frustrated of doing single crochet for so long so I switched to half-doubles.
The pattern for the holly I got from marlo's crochet corner

thats the best christmas hat ever! I've been thinking about what kind of hat I could crochet that would match the season without doing the generic santa hat. yours is definintely along the lines of what I've been thinking! you did such an awesome job!
I especially love the dangling coin. that is so incredibly imaginative. I am amazed.
Great job!
