For DragonCon this year (a big scifi fantasy convention in GA) my roommate asked me to make Kaylee's layer cake dress.

And I thought, hey it couldn't hurt to try.
so here it is.


the Ruffles on the skirt were actually old curtains that my mom didn't want any more, so I cut them up and dyed them.
 
  The hardest part was the ruffly sheer stuff on the bodice, that was trial and error as I didn't have a pattern.

Though It was fun to make,I'm glad it's complete Smiley
