Somehow inspired by "Pirates of the Carribbean" I wanted something with bright colours and I ended up with this small cabinet. Base coat was a very pale pink and then PINK! came next, applied not too careful, so that you still could see some brush strokes. After the flowers and some layers of acrylic varnish I added new furniture knobs (translation?) and a former fridge magnet (butterfly) to fill an otherwise empty space which I thought was too small for a flower but too large to be left as it was.
Probably this is not even in the outskirts of  "Carribbean", but, when asked, I always refer to it as "my little carribbean piece of furniture".
But it is colourful. Grin
Hope you like it anyway!

Wow!  That's really fun!  I think you arranged the flowers (and butterfly) really nicely to have balance without symmetry.  What are the flowers made from?

Thank you!
The flowers are from a sheet of Decoupage paper by Calambour if I remember correctly. Actually there was just one "arrangement" of flowers, that came also mirrored and in different colours. So I had to turn them around or cut flower buds off so that it wouldn't be too obvious that they were basically all the same.

Beautiful!  My oldest daughter would just LOVE this.  Her 2 fave things, pink and flowers.

Great job!

It is so colorful and cute. I just love the little butterfly. I've been wanting to decoupaging, but I haven't had the guts to try it yet. Your cute little night stand just might be the final encouragement I need. Good job.

Wow!  One would never guess that it was all the same!  I'm even more impressed.  I've never heard of decoupage paper and now will have to look into it.
