My daughter is a lil' crafter and loves to help me and was super excited to help make the tees for an upcoming baby shower for two of my friends.  We didn't want the siblings to be left out, so we decided to make tees for them too.  I was in charge of the tying part and Lana was in charge of the dyeing part, which was great because I have a real problem working with colors.  Lana has the kind of unihibitedness which lends itself to great art.

Here's Lana dying the tees....she's concentrating.  LOL.

Lana in her Bounty apron getting ready to cut the rubber bands and wash out the dye.

After a wash and tumble dry. Ta da!
For the babies:

For their siblings:

And one for Lana:

And here they are in the bottom layer of the diaper cakes.

I can't wait for the baby shower. Thanks for looking. Comments are welcome and appreciated.

What an awesome project for you and Lana!  Not to mention the lucky recipients, because those t-shirts turned out really great.  "I made that!" and "Somebody made this just for me!" are two of the best things for a kid to be able to say.

kitschkween:  Thank you for all of your kind comments.   I was a little nervous about the tees, but they did turn out neat and Lana really had a blast.  Smiley

dragonflyducky:  Thank you!!  I'm lucky to have a little craftster to play with!!  She wants to try to do everything that I do.  It was really funny when she saw me knitting and wanted to try.  I caught her stabbing my ball of yarn.  LOL.

TheMistressT: Thank you!!  You're absolutely right.  Lana was so proud of  them!!  And she always remembers what is made for her.  It was a great learning experience in so many ways.  Smiley

Loves2experiment:  Thank you!!!  I think so too.  She really loves doing art.  Smiley  I'll see if I can get you some purple gloves at the next  tent show.  Smiley
