My second dinosaur knit from the Patons Dinosaur booklet is Stegasaurus. The body was knit in the round and most of his legs/feet were also knit in the round. The plates and spikes were knit and then felted. This dude is large, he is 25 inches long and 12 inches tall.

my 3 year old brother is currently OBSESSED with dinasaurs. I think he would go crazy if I made him that. How hard would you say it was? How long would you say it took you to make?

The dinosaur is pretty easy to make if you don't mind knitting fiddly pieces. I started it in July, and had most of it done in less than a month, but I got sidetracked and put it away for awhile (I didn't have any feltable white yarn). I got guilty looking at the bag of pieces and finally finished it.

This is so cute I'm almost tempted to return to the dinosaur phase I went through when the Jurassic Park movies first came out... Grin
