ok who else has Marthas new halloween issue?  Who else has called every liquor store to find the black vodka she mentions for her screw driver?

I called almost every liquor store in Madison and only ONE store has it... I MUST BUY IT.

Because look at this isnt it spooky!

My friend trawled all over to find some of this for Halloween last year (in the UK). In the end she found it in a little store, and it came with it's own fabric wetsuit-type jacket with zip! It does make drinks look far more swish and scary! Great stuff! Grin

My Mom got this vodka for me a couple years ago. All my friends were too grossed out to drink it. I mixed it with cranberry juice and called it zombie blood. Got me drunk, I like that.
Is it the corner liquor store over on State St that has it? Of course, if Woodman's doesn't have it, it doesn't exist!

What!?  I wait all year for Martha's Halloween issue!  I've got  a subscription to the magazine. I guess we aren't going to get that as part of the deal.
I'm going out into the world in a little while.  I'll go by B&N to see if they've got it.   I can stop by BevMo on the way to find the vodka!
Those drinks are gorgeous!

Oooh - I can't wait for Halloween!

IT IS A GOOD ISSUE.. IT HAS THE EVIL SIDE AND THEN FLIP IT OVER AND IT HAS CUTE STUFF FOR KIDS AND SUCH.  SOMETIMES IT HITS THE STANDS BEFORE IT GETS TO YOU IN THE MAIL.  I DONT GET MY COSMO FOR A WEEK AND A HALF AFTER IT IS ON THE STANDS.

I was lucky and found it right away!  Well, okay after 2 liqour stores.  Maybe three.  It's not like a regular vodka- it's very sweet and thick.  It was an exciting Halloween spook-tail party thought!

I got my "Holiday" issue at the local grocery store.

It's pretty good, but I like some of the past issues a little more than this one.

Oh dammit! I looked for the Halloween issue at the grocery store today, but they only had the Sept. issue.

Now that I know it's out, I'll have to stop at the bookstore.

I'm excited! Grin It's always the best issue of the whole year!!!
