What a great idea! I never would have thought of that, but I bet it helps immensely.

Wow, so you just take it to Kinkos and ask them to spiral bound it? For some reason I thought that would interfere with some copyright thing. I don't know WHY I thought that.

I can't see why it's a problem if it's a single, personal copy.  you already bought the book, so it's not like you're profiting from the author's property by copying it or anything.  it might be in issue if you were planning to resell them (I'm not sure if it would or not), but if it's personal it should be fine.  Smiley

Wouldn't I be a great spokesperson for things?

That's why I'm so confused as to why I always thought that. I mean, it's your book, you can write in it, you can tear it up and use it for a craft. But for some reason I thought doing something like that would send the copyright police after you! lol

I've actually been thinking about doing this, Seeing that it doesn't cut the instructions off is only encouraging me to get this done ASAP that was the only thing keeping me from doing it.

You are my hero!! I might have to do this for all my craft books that are hard to keep open!!

It's also one of the reasons I always make a working photocopy of my project so I can write, highlight, light on fire if I want to! lol
