Made for my DD 5th birthday, this was a great stashbusting project.  I used a double stand of yarn throughout so it is very warm and cozy.  I used http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/kiloset/kilo_set_lg.html pattern and cast on 169 sts with sz 10 ndls.  The length covers a twin sz bed.

My DS Bday is in 2 wks and I have already started his stashbusting blanket in oranges & browns!

Excellent idea.   I think I will start on one.  I need some serious stash busting.  Did you use a double strand of mostly worsted weight?  Did you use any sock or bulky weight?   Did you put any other yarn with the fuzzy yarn?

Thanks.  Unfortunately my stash is of a size that this only put a very small dent in it!  Most of the yarn is worsted weight and I did use a single strand of some bulky yarns but no sock yarns.  I'm saving those for another project!  Good luck and can't wait to see yours!

I love the colors. The blanket looks awesome and anything to work down a stash is great! I'm sure your daughter will keep it forever. Smiley
