Yay!!!  I received from Shazrasha today.  I opened up the package (before I even got into my car leaving the post office) and the wonderful smell of garam masala greeted me.  mmmm......

I got some cubes for vegetable and lamb stock.  Then there is the recipe book.  Going along with the idea of trying out the recipe I will try to do the recipe for One Pot Pork by the end of the week (I just bought pork chops this week).  All I need are the potatoes.

Now for the pictures:

I really love the recipes in the book.  She made some great choices.

I received today from KerriedAway:

A great recipe book.. (I can hardly wait to try the Chicken Curry..) one of those cute magic cloths, and a tuxedo cat spoon rest.. all wrapped up in pretty packages.

I tried to persuade my cat (who "helped" me open the box) to pose next to the spoon rest so that everyone could see that it looked exactly like him.. but he would not cooperate.

I received the most amazing package from woobie a few days ago on my way out of town.  Not only did she make me a gorgeous recipe book (my friends were in awe of it) but she also made me the cutest pineapple apron and pineapple napkins to go with my pineapple-themed kitchen!  It was all wrapped up in pretty paper and ribbon with a nice little note.  Seriously, I'm such a lucky swapper.  Everything was so beautiful and fit me so well.

We tried out a recipe too.  Low carb turkey parm (but we used chicken).  It was mighty tasty, though i think i overcooked my chicken before baking it in fear of undercooking it....  Next time it will be even better!

I tried to match your avatar pic with the spoon rest and it sounds like I did a pretty good job, woobie.  You were a super partner!  I'll try to post pics tomorrow when the lighting is better.

Here are the pictures! WARNING! THERE ARE A LOT!

Everything together:

My beautiful recipe book! I believe it was meant to be a photo album. One of those kinds that stands up. I like it better as a recipe book.  Smiley  I absolutely love it:

I can easily read the recipes and not have to deal with a book closing! :

A Harry Potter bookmark, some cute little Triwizard Tournament cardboard things (that are already on my wall), and a note from Wendy!

Some wonderful light lemonade single packets that I'm already addicted to!

And some awesome graduation things that will be wonderful in May!
These were left over from her brother's graduation. I got some stationary paper, stickers, and a little stamp that says "Happy Graduation!":

Thank you so much Wendy! You totally spoiled me! You were a great partner!!!  Grin

If you have not sent yet, you have until Monday, September 24th, to send your package. If you have not sent by then, you will be given negative feedback, and I will find angels for your partners.
Do know that sending late and lack of communication will be in your feedback.
