Just got my hands on this:

So far, I haven't done any of the projects in the book, but I'm a bit disappointed at some of the projects...like the hamburger and the cupcake...I was hoping to get more of the human-animals that she makes...  Sad

Did you buy it online or in the store? I'm so jealous you have it already Wink

I actually like the hamburger. You could use the ingredients of it as coasters

Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch ripple.

My current craft project: crochet domokun doll.

i just figured i could modify the heck out of the anthro-animals she did give, most of the techniques are in there, just move em around. we're crafty folks after all!

I'd love to do a personal swap for clear safety eyes (15mm or 18mm)

I pre-ordered them on Amazon.com. The funny thing is, for a day in mid-August, they listed the book as "available", so I bought it. Then they posted again that it wasn't available yet! I sent Amazon an e-mail because it turns out I wouldn't be getting the book within the month as the website's shipping details said...so they said they'd send it as soon as it is released. And voila...I got it like, three days before it was on sale on the website! Cheesy I love Amazon!

Is the pattern for her snail in there as well?  I'm still waiting for my copy...  Thanks!

Nope, it's not in the book. I just got the book today. I briefly looked at how the pattern was written and I kind of didn't like it.

I got my book a week ago, and I love it.  I'm currently making Strawbeary, with some parts of the Hep Cat thrown in.  I really like her 'Bianca' doll, so mine's white too.  I haven't had any problems with this pattern, but I did get a little stuck on the Fawn pattern.  The commentary at the beginning is funny, and I like the 'blog' things in there as well.  I highly recommend it.

Isn't that book great ?  Honestly I didn't really pay attention to amigurumi until I saw this book.
