Aren't we all lamas really...on the inside?

I'm finally done with Ogee. It started out being really hard lace work but by the end I was able to master the lace. I can really see myself wearing this over skirts and pants a lot.

I frogged a thrift sweater and knit up Ogee with the yarn. I'm amazed how much the pattern opened up after blocking. Surprisingly even though I used different yarn, smaller needles and altered the pattern somewhat the dimensions turned out to match the ones in the pattern.

More details on my blog, in the sig.

Pretty, pretty.  I peeked into your blog for more details, and wow!  One day I hope that a sock is a relaxing project for me!
Great job and great patience to keep at it.

That is so cool! I love the color. Great job on recycling the yarn.

I've been wanting to try that pattern, it sounds like its difficult though! Would you recommend it?  The finished product is beautiful! Great job!

Thanks everybody!  Grin

As for the difficulty level-I found it pretty difficult at first. I had only done one lace project beforehand. The first five rows were incredibly hard but then after that things started to click. And by the time I had started a pattern repeat I felt more confident.

Thanks, twilight! Maybe I should give the first 5 rows a try and see if I can make it to the repeat!
