Hi!  I thought y'all might like to see a slightly different take on the "sweet pea" onesie.  My flowers don't look great, but then, how many people know what a sweet pea flower actually looks like? Smiley

and a more general picture:

It will be interesting to see how these stand up to the washer & dryer.  Has anyone done much laundering of their embroidery?  Any thoughts/tips?

Generally, if the embroidery is well-done and well-tied it will hold up pretty well. Just to be safe though, I wash hand-embroidered clothing in the machine and then hang dry it. This is really adorable by the way (would love one for my Sweet Pea!), and I think the flowers are great!

I think it's lovely!  The flowers are quite good.

My advice is to NOT use the dryer.  It is not only rough on the embroidery but it sets in stains like nothing else.

Ok!  Thanks! I'll pass this along to the new mom Smiley Thanks for liking my flowers.  I think they look pretty, just maybe not very natural/realistic.  But hey, it's a sweet baby girl, she doesn't need Mr. Audubon! Smiley

since i'm an april baby, sweetpeas are near and dear to me, and i especially love that this is a slightly more elegant onesie. it just makes a nice change from super-cutesy baby stuff. good job! Smiley
