I'm going on a road trip this weekend and was wondering what types of crafts are easy to do in a car? It's about a 4 hour drive and probably will eventually loose light in the car, but until that time. Any suggestions?

The only one I can think of is Knitting..

I think that the plane thread (stickied) *might* be able to give you a few ideas ^^

First two that come to mind: Drawing on anything. Small paper crafts.

I make paper beads from magazines in the car. I usually have a bunch of paper pre-stripped and then I just have to glue and roll!

I wouldn't try doing beads or anything else with small easily-droppable pieces.

Usually on car trips I knit, draw, or hand-sew.

I sew up my my handbags to the point I'd usually add applique's, then hand stitch them on the road.

Also sew them on cards and write litte notes on the trip.

Embroidery is another favorite car trip project of mine!
