I wanted to try and make a bowling type bag and this is what I came up with. I just used stash scraps but I think it is now my favorite!  The dog on the front is my dog Shea Bay, he's a maltedoodle and the sweetest.  Smiley  You can download the dog  shape on Anna Maria Horner's blog.  I think it would make a cute t-shirt too!

That is the cutest thing ever!  You would never even know you used scraps.  I have a bunch of scraps left over from decorating my dorm, I think I might make a new purse (one can never have too many; besides, I'll match my walls!)

great bag! i love it and your doggie is darling too. I like the way that you frayed the edges to give him a fuzzy look

Thanks for all the comments!  Smiley  I made this bag while my son was at school, so nice to be back in school!!!

I made the pattern myself, and it is lined.  I use fusible fleece on the outside fabric and fusible interfacing on the lining for all my bags and then they will stand up on there own, and will be nice and sturdy.

I am a huge advocate for using scraps, even a tiny piece of fabric will be made into a yoyo in this house!  My Mom teases me about it.   Tongue
