While traveling in relative comfort (I was sitting in a nice comfy chair in an RV) on a recent road trip, I was amazed to find that I didn't get car sick when I crocheted and so I crocheted a dishcloth. Of course, if I had gotten carsick, I would have had a dishcloth handy to clean up the mess...
Introducing, "The Road Trip Dishcloth!" I made it with Sugar N' Creme cotton yarn (I bought it on a cone and I no longer have the label for the color). I don't remember what hook size I used, but it was probably an I or a J.
It isn't anything fancy, and I made the pattern up as I went along (but it could already exist somewhere...it isn't very original
). Here it is if you are interested! And, as a warning, I've never written out a pattern before, so if it doesn't make sense, let me know and I'll try to clarify. I wrote it out after I finished, but I think it's right
"Road Trip Dishcloth"

Row 8: Repeat row 4
Repeat rows 5-8 until desired length, ending with a row 7.
For border: hdc around, with 2 hdc in each corner.
I did a total of 23 rows (5 sets of the pattern repeat, ending with 3 rows of hdc)
