It depends on what kind of coloring you use. the powdered kind doesn't.

kararuth, great idea for using the premade pie crust - why didn't I think of that.  I've wanted to make this cake for a long time but I'm allergic to chocolate so wondered what I was going to do for a crust.  I bet this would be great on a graham wafer crust, too!

Been away from Craftster for awhile, so I'm a bit behind on replies...the first post has been updated, I've tried it again with a different recipe...

Thanks, nettie2345 and kararuth, for sharing photos!  I love seeing other people's cheesecakes Grin

I've been known to put liquid food coloring straight on my tongue...I can't taste any bitterness then, so maybe I'm immune to it Cheesy  Nobody that I've ever fed it to has complained about anything like that.

Wow!  I love the non-brownie option! Smiley

I made this for my daughter's birthday back in December and it was a HUGE hit!  Thank you for sharing! Smiley

Wow, the 2nd one looks great too and I really like that there is no chocolate!  Now I'm going to have to try this one.

The second recipe looks cool.  I like that you can have a  colored crust.
