The moment I wanted to do stuff with old AOL cds, AOL stopped sending their junk mail.   Roll Eyes

Those would be really cool window curtains.

cool hanging thingy!

I have to find my fishing line.

THye have a whole bunch of AOL cds at blockbuster, just bring a purse and pick up as many as you want. I say bring a purse because well, walking out of blockbuster with hands full of cds isn't considered normal...

OOO I was so surprised to see that someone did the same thing! I also made a sort of curtain out of aol cd's and I connected them with jump rings. I made it the exact dimensions of my door so I could hang it there. At first I only attatched to the door at the top so it swung all willy nilly everytime a person opened the door and it was really loud but since then I've attached it in a million places with those little sticky squares used for hanging pictures and stuff. I'll post pictures as soon as I can!

Since I hung it up and everyone who comes in my house sees it, they have all started giving me even more aol cds thinking that i'll need them for some other reason........they're funny.  Hey I'm open to any more ideas for using them!

Cds melt really well in the oven. I didn't have any records so I was melting cds to make bowls. I ended up cutting shapes out of the cds and then stacking the shapes and melting them together. They would make fabulous jewelry, window hangings, etc.
