If this isn't in an approriate forum feel free to move it...I wasn't sure where to direct this question  Huh

My roommate and some of his friends at work have the idea (that they apparently saw somewhere?) that it's possible to make a knitting machine/board/loom out of a computer keyboard. My roommate is generally unable to tell knitting from crochet and crochet from knitting, and he says "it might even have been for weaving, I can't remember...but I figured you would be interested..." so I'm not even sure something like this exists.

I've been googling around but can't seem to find anything. Lego knitting machines, wooden/hardware knitting boards...but no computer keyboards. And of COURSE now I'm really really intrigued and curious so I can't just let it rest. Has anyone ever seen a tutorial for anything having to do with yarn and computer keyboards, or are we all just crazy??  Roll Eyes
