The other day I was wearing a red dress and I wanted something red for my hair. So I took some red tape, an old green hairpin (a bit scraped...) and gave a look at this tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=162792.0

Here is what I came up with  Grin

Thanks for looking!

I've been trying and trying to make these "flat" like you have here. But they always end up cone shaped. (they would stick off my head too far) how did you make them so flat?

Mine was cone shaped too. When you finish making the cone shaped rose just take a pair of very sharp scissors and cut the tip off. Then add some more duct tape to the now flat base to make it smoother and strengthen it. During this last step you can also add metal wire, elastics, hair pin or whatever you want to stick to your rose.

Hope it is clear!
