SHOCKED that my walmart has any good beads for sale, might be hope for them yet!!  They revamped the craft dept and did more taking then giving.  They labelled them Moonstone, but something tells me for $1.44 they are not REAL moonstone.  But I like them anyway!!

they look very much like a stone I bought that was advertised as "fire opal" - though when I got them I have my doubts on that too! too cheap and not looking quite right.

I personally think they are treated quartz which would commonly be called angel aura quartz - though that is also a nice piece to have... but who knows? Without testing it is hard to determine. I think I need to get a testing resource nearer than my stepson in Omaha - he has a rockhound friend there that will check out what things are for him for free, if he can bust it up and then keep a sample for his collection if he doesn't have it yet, LOL!

on another note - our Wally World doesn't sell anything in strands, LOL! and what they do sell is not much at all.

these are beautiful pieces!

I was trying to figure out how to make dangling earrings out of top drilled beads - maybe this is what I should try! went and got some C-thru to practice on, LOL!

OK - this is what I ended up doing with my not-opal not-moonstone beads - at least a few of them. I am still needing to do those earrings and will post them when I get them done!

It is a really bad photo and I may replace it if I get a better pic taken - pressure cooker for time here - got a five day craft show in two weeks!
