Is there a specific type of ink to print on metal (Anodized aluminum)?   I'm going to be printing the pattern on a computer..

Is there any special equipment needed (mesh?) for metals? Or anything else I should know?

any kit suggestions...?? I've been looking at EZScreenPrint, has anyone used it? How did it work out?
http://www.ezscreenprint.com/

I'm kind of lost here. I found alot of tutorials, but all seem to involve fabric or wood or vinyl...  Huh

no metal

Any and all input welcome!

I went ahead and used it... it works REALY WELL. If you have small images/print line I did, go with the high resolution screen instead of the regular.

I wound up using an oil paint, it took FOREVER to dry on metal, but it worked well for a prototype. If you have any suggestions as to what paint would work well with metal, pls feel free to post this info!! thx

hi squid_ink. after your post, I looked into the EZScreenprint and it looks interesting. Do you have any photos of the work you did? All I can find is what is on their site...

here's a copy of the handiwork..it's on annodized aluminum (the annodization process makes it black) and i used oil based paint, it's the tube kind I got at a local arts store.  I used the heaviest paint possible, it took FOREVER To dry, so I sprayed it with some laminate towards the end, it seemed to seal it.

the controller is 8inches X 6inches.. I forget the size of the  (I'm pretty sure it was 12pt), but it was small. I ordered the HiRes sheets and they really made a difference. If you don't have small images or fonts, the regular works nicely.

I love this product, it was so easy to work with. I'm getting my niece a kit as part of her birthday present!
