I have a question as a  'newbie' at ATCs?

Is it customary to send a swatch of fabric along with your cards? I notice a lot of people mentioning it and two of mine included a swatch...I wonder if this is expected and I'm just out of the loop? ROFL of just random, or what? LOL

I have traded with many different people here and on another site, about half the people I trade with will send along a scrap of something with their cards and about half don't.  Some also send in a protective cover, too, or bubble wrap.

Wow, what awesome cards. Those of you that are doing the fabric ATCs for the first time have produced some wonderful cards!

Craftydiane, thanks for the reminder on the postage! For those who are interested, there is a cardboard template/chart thing that you can get from the postoffice for free that has all the standard measurements an envelope must meet. It has a little opening, and if your envelope slides through it, you are good to go. Otherwise, extra postage.

As for the question about displaying the ATCs, in addition to the other things you have heard, a real easy way that is quickly changeable is a photo display ***thing*** (for lack of knowing the real name) ... it is not a picture frame, but often a wire type wall display and you just slide card/photo in it. I have one that is shaped like a big flower with wire spirals all over it. The wire spirals hold the cards on it. You can sometimes find them marketed for Christmas cards, too.

Everyone needs to do another check on the status update. Not everyone has been PMing me when they send/receive so I am having to update based on PMs and what is being posted in the gallery. I could have easily missed some, so please look at it. I will not do further feedback updates until I am fairly sure that my list is accurate.

We definitely will need a Round 3!!
