step one make a little red hat.
step Two, put it on stuff like pets dolls action figures
next take pics of them.
photocopy/print the pics of cardstock and send them......

you may want to try looking at the other posts on this board, there are 657683 threads on quick gifts lol.  Smiley

     +  necktie hats
+  assortment of d-ring belts (all you need is ribbon long enough to go around his/her waist and two d-rings.  they're super easy and cheap and everyone loves pretty belts!)
     +  guitar pick jewelry
+  if you can sew, you could always make purses (some patterns take no time at all)
+  decoupage the front of a journal/scrapbook/photo album & insert a few notes and pictures
     +  stencil tshirts of bands/movies/celebrities
     +  the ever-popular marble magnets
     +  custom picture frames
+  "fund" jars (decorate a jar and write "boob job fund" or "vegas fund" on the front)
+  etch their names into some candle holders/shot glasses (can be accompanied by yummy-smelling candles or mini bottles of liquor)
+  home-made bath & body baskets (sugar/salt scrubs, flavored soap, lip balm, etc.)
+  "_____ in a box" (i love this idea because it can be customized for each person!)

you can find tutorials for all of these ideas here on craftster if you need them.  hope they helped!

I made the easiest gifts this year. All done in about 2 hours!!! Fleece scarves- just cut and serge (so easy it feels wrong) you can find some really cool patterns plus add beading for the girls. I also made marble magnets with my daughter on them for the family. So easy!!
