I'm going to assume that since we're all photography inclined that we'll all be able to post pictures once we've received from our partners.  If for some reason you are unable to, please let me and your partner know!

Here's the deal, I could see this as my first swap, but I'm not sure.  Where's the gallery from Photograper's swap round 1?

indywriter - I was just checking out your blog.  Your story about the goldfish was so sad!

indywriter - I was just checking out your blog.  Your story about the goldfish was so sad!

My oldest daughter has been the source of so many sad and silly stories.  When she was three she asked me where babies come from, where they are before they are in a mommy's tummy.  Thinking philosophically, I told her that babies come from Heaven.  God waits until the right Mommy and Daddy are ready, and then sends the baby to them.  (If you've ever heard "The Things We've Handed Down," this is the same idea.)

She accepted this without question and didn't ask anything else.

A few months later we were at a children's "fairy tea."  Out of the blue, my daughter (Miss B) interrupts the leader:

Miss B: You know what?

Leader (caught off guard): No What?

Miss B: My brothers and sisters are in heaven with God and Jesus.

Crowd of other parents: Awww!  That poor little girl!

That's right, everyone thought her siblings were dead.  I was a bit embarassed because everyone seemed to feel so bad for me and Miss B.

My friends think this was hilarious.
