I had to have a Fun topic name, for a fun book.

This is the book I created for (and with) the tip-in journal pages from swapping here!  Here's the swap gallery that inspired the book: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=173711.msg1786655#msg1786655

and ROUND 2 is signing up NOW!: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=192665.0

I made pocket pages; for the tags created by other artists:
There are 3 pages (6 sides) like that, for LOTS of things to tuck in.

the page I made (my turquoise Tiptop Doll)

open, with spreads by Aliastriona_Angerbo da and AlteredMommy:

Laid flat, spread by Katxena:

Top view of book standing:

Cover, made from HEAVY cardboard (from sketch journal pad) and wrapped and decoupaged...1 1/2" rings for binding.

The best part is there are 2 more spreads coming for it!  I LOVE all the variations in the color and theme.  Hooray for monochromatic art swaps! Cheesy  CRAFTSTER GIRLS rule!

HERE IS THE UPDATE, now FULL (almost 4" thick!) with pages, in an entire FLICKR FOLDER!  CHECK IT OUT!:

This is really neat. I was kind of checking out that swap and trying to figure out how it worked... It really is VERY cool. I may have to join one in the future. Smiley

It's absolutely stunning!  It's such a concentrated burst of color...makes me want to use words like 'luscious' and 'opulent'...you did a beautiful job bringing the pages together!

Wow, OY! Now I finally know what to do with my pages! I had been obsessing about learning something new and fancy to bind them, but I think the simplicity of this is perfect for the tip-in pages. I'm inspired!
p.s. I'm working on one of those new sets for you right now!
