...4 1/2" tall...

I found this little cutie from: http://heavens-hellcat.livejournal.com/

...Side profile...

I used thread to create him rather than worsted weight yarn. So he is a small dude. I really like the way he came out but I'm not sure if he needed to be stuffed more.

...Feet...

Once I got to the feet in the pattern I got soooo confused! I thought I had to turn the work the whole time but nope... make sure your well rested before attempting any pattern. Hehe.

... Shocked Eyes Shocked ...

I tried crocheting the eyes, as the pattern suggested, but they just didn't strike me. So I used my old time method as I do for all the dolls. Good ol' clay, black sharpie, paper clips for the back to attach, sparkly clear coat nail polish for the glam, and shiny top coat for the glitz. Can't be happier Wink

Looks good. I too have made this Totoro, and I used the crochet eyes in the pattern, yours look much better. You made the right choice Wink Those feet look great...mine look a little odd. Maybe I turned it too much too. Not sure, there's three of them but their really curled up on themselves.

Anyways, great job!

Aww... your very kind! I don't know... I was a bit confused on making the eyes like the feet. The black outline or trim around the eyes looked awkward. Maybe it was because of the thread yarn. I'm sure yours is far better than mine though! After I made it I started to think 'why didn't I just use worsted?' Takes the same amount of time and it's bigger. I'm happy though. Surprised my feet didn't curl because I like my stitches tight. My mother has never seen this critter before and she thought he was a tooth, so now his nickname is Toothy Cheesy

Thank you everyone! I'm thinking about creating some patterns of my own so it's going to be a big step up for me. Wish me luck!
