Hi there.  This is my first post, though I have been crocheting and knitting for some years now.  My son loves Star Wars so I decided to try and make him a Luke Skywalker toy since I had just finished The Sweetheart Doll (eureekaswindow.etsy.com) for my daughter.  I used the basic body pattern from the male Sweetheart Doll and then winged the rest.  The lightsaber was hard to figure out, but ultimately I just did two rows of sc and then sewed shut around a toothpick to make it stiff.  Mark Hamill sort of had a shaggy do, so I tried to make the doll look that way.  Don't know if this makes the doll look girly or if I should keep it as is.  Let me know.  Thanks!

Ha ha, that's awesome.  I'd say leave it as it is.

I told you: I only wrote that poem to test my printer!

That's so cute! I love his little light saber. I don't think it looks too girly Smiley
